INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING
OF PERSONAL DATA
of the users of the Platform Talent4Camp
Pursuant to article 13 of the EU Regulation 2016/679

The information provided below describes, as required by the EU Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter “GDPR”), the processing operations performed on the personal data of the users of the Platform Talent4Camp (hereinafter referred to as “T4C” or “Platform”).

A data subject (hereinafter referred to as “Talent”) is any university student or recent graduate who has the right to use the Platform to look for or apply for internships or entry level jobs.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Learlab S.r.l, located in via di Monserrato, 48, 00186 Roma (IT).

Once a Partner (any law firm, international financing institution, public institution or private company wishing to advertise internships or entry level jobs) has received the candidature of a Talent, the Partner will be responsible for the processing of the Talent’s personal data as the independent data controller.

2. The purposes of the processing and legal basis

During registration on the Platform, the Talent accepted the Regulation and general conditions for using the Platform (hereinafter “Regulation”), the data processing operations are carried out pursuant to article 6 (1), b) GDPR, in the context of the relationship between Learlab and the Talent. For the data processing indicated in the CV (potentially also details – e.g. belonging to protected categories) the Talent has given his/her explicit consent to the processing (pursuant to article 9 (2) a) GDPR).

The provision of data is required to register on the Platform and access the various features and services offered by it. The Talent enrolled in the Lear Conference 2020 will have the opportunity to participate in the so-called job market and upload their CV, a letter or a short presentation video.

The Talent can choose the type and frequency of notification, which can be subsequently modified. The user ID for a Talent is the email used when registering on the Eventbrite website, the password chosen by the user can be changed.

As mentioned in the Regulation the user is responsible for the safeguarding and confidentiality of their password, and the proper use of the account.

The processing of personal data for purposes not indicated in this information statement, for example the receiving of a newsletter, will only take place with the explicit consent of the interested party.

3. Data recipients

Edisfera S.r.l, provider of the web platform development and maintenance services and operational supply and management services for the technological platforms relied upon, has been appointed as data processors by Lear (pursuant to the article 28 of the Regulation). Talent profiles can only be viewed by Partner companies in which the Talent has expressed interest by sending an application to them via the Platform (together with the information contained in the Talent’s CV, letter or video presentation) for specific positions (offers).

4. Period of retention of personal data

Personal data will be retained and processed for the period necessary to pursue the purposes indicated in paragraph 2 of this information statement, and for a period not exceeding 12 months following the event.

5. Data subjects' rights

Data subject has the right to withdraw their consent at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given (pursuant to article 9 (2) a) GDPR) before the revocation or necessary to use the service (job market), they may also exercise the rights (pursuant to Articles 15 to 22 GDPR). Requests to exercise these rights can be sent to lear@learlab.com.

For all the information (CV, cover letters, video...) sent to Partners, the exercise of the aforementioned rights must be addressed also to them as independent data controllers, through the methods indicated in the individual information statements received from them.

 

6. Right to lodge a compliant

If a data subject considers that the processing of personal data relating to him or her as performed via this Platform infringes the GDPR, he or she has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (pursuant to article 77 GDPR), or else to bring a judicial proceeding against Learlab S.r.l (pursuant to article 79 GDPR).
